Where to Eat
Here is a small list of some our favorite places to dine in the city… RJ Grunt’s (2056 Lincoln Park West, 773-929-5363) The original Lettuce Entertain You Restaurant, home of the first salad bar. We swear by their milkshakes. Café Iberico (739 N. LaSalle St, 312-573-1510) Lots of fun with a large group. Have a pitcher (or six) of sangria while you wait for your tapas. Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab (60 E. Grand Ave, 312-379-5637) - One of our favorites for special occasions. Pizzeria Uno (29 E. Ohio St, 312-321-1000) You can’t visit Chicago without having deep-dish pizza. If the wait is too long, try Pizzeria Due across the street, which features the same menu. Mod (1520 N. Damen Ave, 773-252-1500) Located in trendy Bucktown, this restaurant features “modern American cuisine”. Marilyn and David are regulars. Wiener Circle (2622 N. Clark St, 773-477-7444) If you are looking for a late night, Chicago style hot dog, this is the only place to go. Fair Warning: Not for children or the feint of heart. |
